Not the oddest jazz experiments I've ever heard, but definitely among the most listenable and satisfying. Just turn this on for a bit and ignore it in the corner, within no time the bizarrely syncopated machinery will have your head nodding in ways it never has. Be sure to stretch first. Lost Tribe Sound

It is difficult to say why Tomaga & their collaborations and Tom’s & Valentina’s side projects thrill me so. Spaces to share and inhabit, fragility in synesthetic form, poetic objectivity. Bandiera is their most thrilling outing, maybe even more than The Shape of the Dance—the previous high water mark for me... Eric K
